Man Jailed After Assault With Baton And Knife In Beech Mountain, Drums

On July 3rd 2016 at approximately 1 pm, Butler Township Police responded to the 200 block of Shingle Mill Drive in the Beech Mountain section of Butler Township for a report of an assault.

Police determined that Kahlil D Campos, 20 with no permanent address, attempted to assault the resident of the home with a 17" metal collapsible baton.

Campos was disarmed by the resident, but then brandished a knife and threatened to stab the resident.

Campos was taken into custody and charged with Terroristic Threats and Simple Assault.

Magistrate Dixon set bail at $30,000 cash. Campos was lodged at LCCF.
