Wanted Person Taken Into Custody
Shelby Pavlick, 23 of Mountaintop, was taken into custody on June 24th at approximately 10:30 pm at the intersection of Diamond Avenue and Wyoming Street.
Pavlick had an outstanding warrant for forgery and related offenses. A search of her person revealed that she was in possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.
Pavlick was transported to LCCF for overnight arraignment, where she was lodged in lieu of $25,000 bail on the warrant.
Pavlick pleaded guilty at an arraignment on June 29th.
Hazleton city Police Chief Jerry Speziale stated on the situation "The men and women of the department are actively pursuing those who are wanted and violate the law in their commitment to making a safer Hazleton."
