Motor Vehicle Accident And Subsequent Fire Send One To Hospital (Graphic images)

At approximately 10 am, Hazle Township Fire, EMS, and State Police responded to Route 309 between Route 424 and McAdoo for a report of a one car motor vehicle accident.

The vehicle, occupied by one female, exited the roadway, striking a telephone pole and continuing into a yard before catching fire.

The female was initially entrapped and confused about her surroundings.

An unknown male reportedly rescued the woman from the burning vehicle prior to EMS or Fire Department arrival as live wires hung dangerously close to the car. The male left the area shortly after.

The female was cared for by local homeowners and passers by, as shown in the images, prior to EMS arrival. The female was transported from the scene by EMS and is listed as being stable at this time.
