Child Accidentally Locked In Car - Hazleton Fire Department Unlocks Vehicle

At approximately 1pm, Hazleton City Fire responded to the area of Broad and Laurel for a report of a child locked in a vehicle.

The child's family was leaving a nearby store when they placed the 18 month old in the vehicle in order to load items in the rear of the vehicle.

The doors were locked however, and the child happily danced around in the vehicle with the keys as fire fighters attempted to open the vehicle.

After a few minutes, fire fighters made entry and the little girl's family happily took her from the vehicle.
