Local Man Continues Father's Day Car Show Tradition

The annual Father's Day Car Show at Hazle Park had become a tradition for Hazleton... The tradition ended in 2015. One local man is carrying on the torch and continuing the tradition with the first annual Father's Day At The Park Car Show.

"I have been going to the Father's Day Car Show at Hazle Park since I was 4 years old. Anyone who is a lifelong resident of Hazleton knows the summer does not start until the Father's Day Car Show. The club decided not to have the show this year for many personal reasons. I took it upon myself to keep the tradition alive." - John Mumie, Fast Life Customs.

The car show is on Father's Day, June 19th, from 10 am until 3 pm at Community Park in Hazle Township.

The event is not judged, however dash plaques will be given out to the first 100 cars.

Vendors, tricky trays, karaoke, and music will be featured at the event.
