Man Charged With Sexual Assault After Impregnating 13 Year Old

Butler Township Police have released that Casey Lewis Vargeson, 19 of Nuremburg, has been charged with three felony counts of Statutory Sexual Assault and three felony counts of Corruption of Minors.

An investigation revealed to Butler Township Police that Vargeson was engaging in sexual intercourse with the juvenile since she was 13 years old, with Vargeson being 18 at the time that the sexual assault began.

Vargeson admitted that he was aware of the age of the female during the acts. The female was found to have been impregnated during the sexual contact.

Vargeson was arraigned on 5-24-16 in front of Magistrate O'Donnell, with bail set at $15,000 unsecured. Vargeson was ordered not to have any contact with the victim or her family.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for 6-2-16 in front of Magistrate O'Donnell.
