Female Who Called Police For A Burglary Found In Possession Of Crack Cocaine

Jessica P. Hutchins, 31 of Drums was charged with possession of a controlled substance on May 6th 2016. (Hutchins was later issued a warrant from adult probation for absconding supervision on May 18th 2016 Click here for that story. )

Butler Township Police state that they had responded to 255 Snow Valley Drive for a report of a possible burglary in progress.

Upon arrival, police met with the resident Jessica Hutchins.

The burglary was unfounded, however police discovered crack cocaine in plain view.

Hutchins who is currently lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility will be arraigned May 23rd via video arraignment with Magistrate O'Donnell of Sugarloaf.
