Theft Suspect An Employee Of Northeast Counseling

Security at Giant supermarket on South Locust Street reported that three individuals were being held for shoplifting on New Year's Eve.

An initial article noted that Christopher Wynkoop, 36 of Hazleton, Dawn Freit, 44 of Hazleton, and Patrick Duksta, 21 of Hazleton were charged in connection with the retail theft.

Freit and Duksta recieved summary retail theft charges, with Wynkoop being charged with felony retail theft and tresspass.

Wynkoop was jailed in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $1,000 bail.

Further information has revealed that Dawn Freit of Hazleton was held for attempting to steal a large amount of makeup products.

Freit was reportedly in possession of over $100 worth of makeup and charges are being pressed by Giant.

Freit's Facebook page states that she is an employee of Northeast Counseling in Hazleton and that she studied Psychology at the University of Maryland.
