Luzerne County Scheduled PennDOT Work January 1st - January 8th

PennDOT has released that the following projects will be taking place within Luzerne County in the following week.

Short Term Projects:

SR 11-WYOMING AVE-EXETER-single lane-PATCHING-1/4/2016-1/8/2016-7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SR 115-Bear Creek Blvd-Inlet repair-shoulder restriction-inlet repair-1/4/2016-1/5/2016-7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SR 309-South Mt Blvd-Inlet repair-shoulder restriction-inlet repair-1/6/2016-1/7/2016-7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SR 2007-Laurel Run Rd-Bear Creek Township-single lane-shoulder repair-1/4/2016-1/7/2016-7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SR 6309-KIDDER STREET-WILKESBARRE-single lane-PATCHING-1/4/2016-1/8/2016-7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SR 309/6309-Mountain Boulevard-Hanover/Wright Township-single lane-pothole patching-1/4/2016-1/7/2016-7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Long Term Projects:

Bridge Replacement of County Bridge #26304 that carries Old Route 11 (Main Street) over Toby Creek in Kingston Township. The proposed bridge will include concrete abutments with spread footings. A one mile detour will be utilized during construction. Other work includes bituminous paving, line painting and guiderail work. This is a local project, not a PennDOT project. SR 315 – Avoca – A large reconstruction project is taking place near the Airport and I-81. Please be alert when traveling through the area. This project includes new roundabouts. For information on roundabout safety please contact Michael Taluto at mtalut@pa.gov or (570)-963-3502.

SR 437 Dennison Twp. single lane for core drilling on bridge over Riley Creek from 08/31/2015- Friday, September 11, 2015 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SR 7220 (Hillside Road) – Kingston Township – Single lane with signals for bridge construction over Huntsville Creek. Estimated Completion – August 2016
