Grinch In Santa Hat Jailed For Burglary

Kasey Ritz of Selinsgrove has been jailed after a burglary in Butler Township.

Ritz was charged with felony burglary, felony criminal tresspass, misdemeanor theft, and misdemeanor recieving stolen property after an incident on the 27th.

Ritz reportedly burglarized a garage, taking a Mongoose bicycle valued at $150.

A citizen reported a suspicious male described as wearing a Santa hat, a hoodie, and dirty pajama pants.

Police responded to find Ritz in the area of St. Johns Road and Klingers Road with the bicylce.

Ritz admitted to taking the bike, stating that his vehicle had been impounded following a traffic stop in which he was found to be driving without a license and without insurance. Ritz was lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $20,000 bail.
