Man Arrested After Leading Police On Chase
Fernando Sanchez, 26 of Hazleton, was taken into custody early Monday morning after he led police on a chase.
Sanchez failed to stop for Hazleton Police in the area of Diamond Avenue just after 1am, causing police to give chase. Sanchez fled North on Laurel, East on 2nd, South on Manhattan, and finally came to a stop near Diamond and Wyoming.
Sanchez was operating a red Dodge which poccibly sustained damage after mounting a curb.
Sanchez was taken to LVH for Blood Alcohol Content testing and his vehicle was towed.
Sanchez was released on ROR bail on the following charges:
F3 Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Officer
Fleeing-Attempting To Elude/Signals
M2 Recklessly Endangering Another Person
M DUI: Gen Imp/Inc of Driving Safely - 1st Off
Seven counts of S Impr Emergence Alley Driveway Or Bldg
Three counts of S Duties At Stop Sign
S Driving at Safe Speed
and Reckless Driving.
