Tuesday December 15th - News Review

On Tuesday December 15th, the following incidents are reported to have happened in the Hazleton area at these approximate times:

Lehigh Valley Hospital Report of a patient on the 5th floor assaulting security. Security is requesting backup. HPD responding.

8 am

6:15 am 309 near Dano's Motor vehicle accident involving a roll over. Valley Regional Fire, EMS, and Butler Township Police responded.

9 am

Buttonwood and Church A male stopped a vehicle in the middle of the road, got out, left the vehicle in the roadway, and ran to the nearby gas station. HPD responding. Nothing found.

9 am

Amazon Distribution Center Report of an activated commercial fire alarm. Hazle Township Fire, Harwood Fire, and EMS responding. Determined to be food in the microwave. No fire.

11 am

Birch Knoll Drive An individual reports finding a shotgun in a blue package in a wooded area. HPD responding.

Noon

3rd and Alter HPD is requesting EMS to evaluate a female who has been taking klonopin and drinking heavily. This is stemming from a complaint of a female that was refusing to leave a business.

4 pm

Freedom Drive in Butler Township Report of a working vehicle fire. Butler Township Fire and Freeland Fire responding.

5 pm

McNair Street Report of a male inside of a vehicle injecting himself with drugs. HPD is on scene with four individuals.

9 pm

500 block of North Locust Street Another report of a star shooter laser decoration being stolen. HPD responding. We would like to remind this thief that Christmas decorations are generally put out for children, and you are a terrible person for taking such a thing.
