Multiple Incidents Of Shots Fired In Hazleton On Saturday

Many Hazleton residents uneasily joke about the common sounds of gunshots in the city.

This has not been the case recently in Hazleton however. Gunshots were not quite so familiar when they rang out on two seperate occasions on Saturday December 12th.

At 5 am, between 4 and 6 shots were heard in the area of 1st and Wyoming Street.

No one was reported to be injured, and no property damage was immediately reported.

just after 11 pm, gunshots rang out again in the area of Vine and Spruce Streets.

This time 3 shots were heard. Again, no injuries or property damage were immediately reported.
