Truck Downs Pole And Wires On 309

Just before 10 am, a dump truck reportedly backed into a telephone pole, sheering it off and downing the wires.

It is unknown if power or services were losts to nearby homes.

The Hazleton City Fire Department responded and determined that the wires posed no risk to anyone. The correct authorities were contacted to resolve the issue.
