Monday December 7th - News Review


On Monday December 7th, the following incidents are reported to have happened in the Hazleton area at these approximate times:

8 am

Laurel Street Report of an assault. HPD and State Police are searching for a vehicle that fled from the scene. Further details are not available to HN1.

1 pm

Holly Street

Report of a two car motor vehicle accident.

Unknown on injuries. HPD responding.

4 pm

Carson Street Report of a male going through vehicles in the area. HPD responding. Male fled in a vehicle. A local mailman followed the male and gave license plate information of the vehicle to HPD.

5 pm

Lehigh Valley Hazleton Security at the hospital found a syringe on a patient. Requesting police.

6 pm

North Cedar Street Report of a domestic assault. EMS and HPD responding.

6 pm

North Locust Report of a stolen vehicle. HPD investigating.

7 pm

East Diamond Avenue Report of a motor vehicle accident. Unknown extent of injuries or entrapment. One vehicle with heavy front end damage. Occupant initially unresponsive. Possibly confined. Life flight requested to be on standby. Hazle Township Fire, EMS, and State Police responding.

9 pm

Church and Chapel Street Report of a male/female domestic. Verbal in nature at this time. HPD responding.

11 pm

West 20th An individual reports harassment, threats, and vandalism. Stating that their tires were slashed and a male placed a gun to their head. Male fled into a home on Locust Street. HPD responding.

Midnight

Giant parking lot Report of a fight in progress. Called in by employees. HPD responding.
