East Noble Street An individual witnessed a male break into their vehicle. Described as a black male with a black ski mask. HPD responding.
3 am
Diamond and Church Street Report of an erratic driver. Turning onto Peace. HPD responding.
1 pm
South Broad Street in West Hazleton Report of a stove on fire. West Hazleton and Hazleton Fire Departments are responding. Fire is out. Ventilation in progress. One individual taken to LVH for smoke inhilation. Units clearing at 1:36.
2 pm
North Locust Street Report of a domestic. Male/female fighting. Children in the home. HPD responding.
4 pm
First and Hayes Report of smoke in the area. Hazleton City Fire responding to investigate. Outside controlled fire found. Units returning.
7 pm
Roberts Street in Freeland A homeowner noticed something in their tree with blinking lights. Freeland police on scene determined it to be a drone. Freeland Fire is assisting to remove the done from the tree. Hazleton News 1 took a drive past afterward and saw the drone happily flying around again.
8 pm
600 block of Alter A male reportedly broke into an apartment. Landlord states that the apartment is trashed. Male possibly located on 2nd Street. HPD investigating.

Giant Supermarket A male fled from the store with stolen items. Unknown what was stolen. Manager chased the male toward the railroad tracks until they lost the male. HPD Responding.

Dollar General on South Street in Freeland Strong odor of natural gas. Freeland Fire on scene.
9 pm
West Hazleton Police are searching for a dark Grey Mazda Tribute. Involved n a hit and run on Broad Street near Verastro's. Damage behind driver side door. License plate possibly ending in 2930 Contact West Hazleton Police with any information.
10 pm
Broad and Washington Avenue in West Hazleton Report of a two car motor vehicle accident. Injuries reported. Vehicles in the roadway. Fluids down. West Hazleton Police, EMS, and West Hazleton Fire responding.
