Kitchen Fire Hospitalizes One

A kitchen Fire at Broad and Webster Avenue in West Hazleton has sent one to Lehigh Valley Hazleton for smoke inhilation.

The fire started on a stove, and extended to cabinets in the home.

West Hazleton and Hazleton City Fire responded just after 1pm to an outened fire, spending nearly an hour searching for further extensions of the fire and ventilating the home.

Two individuals were seen by EMS at the scene, one required attention at the hospital.
