Hazleton City Fire Rescues Male From Vehicle That Wrecked Down Embankment

Hazleton City Fire, EMS, and HPD responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident around 3pm involving a truck that had driven down an embankment off of East Diamond Avenue Friday.

The driver, described as an elderly male, had to be extricated from the vehicle.

Hazleton City Fire had to perform a low angle rope rescue.

Life Flight was contacted, however it is unknown if the male was taken by life flight.

Paul's Auto Center removed the vehicle with the aid of Hazleton City Fire Department removing trees.
