Car That Struck Home DUI Related - Heroin Found
Just after 11 pm, Butler Township Police responded to a home on West Butler Drive for a report of a car that struck a house.
Upon arriving, minor structural damage was observed, and Valley Regional Fire Department was not needed.
The driver of the vehicle was determined to be William James Walsh, 59 years old, of drums.
Walsh was found to be highly intoxicated and was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.
During a search of Walsh, Butler Township Police located three packets of suspected heroin.
Charges on Walsh are pending.
