DUI Suspected In Accident That Severed Pole, Downed Wires

Butler Township Police state that Joseph Zelenack, 58 of Drums, was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI after a motor vehicle accident alon North Old Turnpike Road.
Around 7pm on November 21st, Butler Township Police, Valley Regional Fire, and EMS were dispatched to N. Old Turnpike Road for a report of a vehicle that had struck a telephone pole.
The pole was reportedly severed, causing lines to come down in the area.
No charges have been filed yet. Zelenack's vehicle was removed by Kessinweather Towing.
