Head On Crash On 940 Sends Three To Hospital

Three individuals were hospitalized after a head on collision in Hazle Township along Route 940 near Jeddo around 2 am Sunday morning.

State Police, Hazle Township Fire, APTS, and Freeland EMS responded to the scene.

Life flight was requested, but helicopters were not flying at that time.

The condition of the three individuals involved was not released.

Traffic on 940 was detoured for over an hour while crews worked to free two entrapped individuals and clear the vehiles and debris.

Fault of the accident was not released to Hazleton News 1.
