Male Arrested For Forcing His Way Into A Home - Stalking, Theft

Hazleton City Police responded to a report of a suspicious male in the 100 block of Diamond Avenue.

The male was determined to be 24 year old Jose Rodriguez.

Rodriguez was found on the second floor of a residence that the had reportedly been at on several occasions.

Hazleton Police state that Rodriguez had forced a resident of the home to allow him entry.

Rodriguez was taken into custody and transported to Luzerne County Correctional Facility for overnight arraignment.

Rodriguez was charged with two counts of Criminal Trespass, Stalking, Unlawful Restraint, Terroristic Threats, Resisting Arrest, two counts of Simple Assault, and Theft.

His bail was set at $10,000.
