Sunday November 22nd - News Review


On Sunday November 22nd, the following incidents are reported to have happened in the Hazleton area at these approximate times:

Midnight

3rd and Manhattan Court A male reportedly kicked in the door to a home. Male fled the area on foot after threatening the home owner. Male described as wearing a hoodie, jeans, and boots. HPD in the area, searching for the male.

1 am

St. John's road in Butler Township A vehicle exited the roadway into a ditch. A female occupying the vehicle was seen attempting to flee on foot when the vehicle would not move. Butler Township Police have found the occupant. Vehicle is being towed.

2 am

Keifer Ave and Oliver Court

Report of a motor vehicle accident.

Two vehicles involved. One fled the scene.

Injuries involved.

Hazleton City Fire, EMS, and HPD are responding.

3 am

West Oak Street Report of a possible break in. A male is attempting to gain entry to a home. HPD and West Hazleton on scene.

4 am

Diamond Avenue Multiple vehicles were struck by a vehicle that then attempted to flee the scene. The vehicle, described as a hatchback, was pulled over by HPD in the area of 1st and Cleveland. The driver was taken to LVH for testing after suspected of being under the influence.

Noon

16th Street An elderly female reports that a male walked into her home. Forced entry through the back door. The male fled the area on foot. Described as a white male, approximately 6 foot tall, wearing a hoodie. HPD is on scene.

5 pm

Not much going on in the Hazleton Area right now...

But in Noxen, EMS is responding for a person kicked in the head by a horse.

just before midnight

2nd and Broad in West Hazleton Report of an unresponsive individual laying on the ground. Unknown cause. West Hazleton Police and EMS are responding.
