Woman Charged With DUI After Rollover On 309
Around 10pm on October 4th, Butler Township Police responded to the area of 309 and Foothills Drive for a report of a vehicle rollover.
It had appeared that the vehicle had exited the roadway near the intersection with Foothills Drive, reentered the roadway, then left the roadway again, flipping over and hitting a fence.
Butler Township Police state that Heather Olexa, 36 of Mountain Top, had exhibited numerous signs of intoxication.
Olexa reported no injuries, and had removed herself from the vehicle.
Olexa was given a breathalyzer on the scene, and later handcuffed and transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton by Butler Township Police for a blood alcohol test.
Olexa's BAC level was .270%. Olexa was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, and a summary violation.
