Drifton Man Charged With Dumping In Butler Township

Gilbert Ocasio, 38, of Drifton, has been charged in connection to numerous piles of garbage that were dumped in Butler Township.

Butler Township Police state that during the month of November, they were notified of numerous piles of garbage that included waste paper, household waste, and rubbish along Prospect Road in Butler Township.

The Butler Township Road Department had properly disposed of the trash prior to the completion of the investigation into the trash.

A concerned citizen reportedly provided polise with information that was used in identifying Ocasio.

Ocasio has been charged with Scattering Rubbish, and restitution will be sought for the garbage clean up.
