Hazleton Police Investigating Armed Robbery

Hazleton City Police are asking for anyone with information about an armed robbery to come forward.

Police responded to the Dollar General on East Diamond Avenue Sunday night around 9:45 pm.

HPD issued a release stating that two males wearing black hoodies entered the store, one wearing a black and white bandana over his face and the other individual had a machete in his posession.

The males stole an undetermined amount of cash and fled in a white vehicle with a spoiler.

The vehicle is described as possibly being a Chevrolet with a black stripe.
