Friday November 13th - News Review


On Thursday November 12th, the following incidents are reported to have happened in the Hazleton area at these approximate times:

6 am

Amazon in Humboldt Report of a motor vehicle accident. Two vehicles involved. No injuries reported. Fluids are down. One vehicle reported to be smoking. Hale Township Fire responding.

6 am

Clinton Court near 1st Report of a fight inside of a home. One person stabbed or cut with a knife. HPD and EMS responding.

9 am

Alter and 19th Report of a domestic. A female reported to be attempting to stab her sister. HPD on scene.

3 pm

Church and 21st Report of a hit and run. Two vehicles hit. Vehicle described as a Honda Civic. Fled into Butler Township. HPD and Butler Township investigating. License plate has been taken down.

4 pm

Vine and 5th Report of a man with a gun. Blue hoodie with a white tee shirt. Jumped a fence when seen by police. Running in the direction of Alter. Followed to the area of Alter and 8th. Reported to have taken off the hoodie. HPD searching the area. HPD rerouting a school bus in the area. The male has been taken in to custody. The gun was found throw in a yard.

6 pm

Broad Steet and Jackson Ave Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. West Hazleton Fire , West Hazleton Police, and EMS responding.

7 pm

Walnut Street in Freeland Fully involved fire. Possible entrapment.
