Wednesday November 11th - News Review


On Sunday November 8th, the following incidents are reported to have happened in the Hazleton area at these approximate times:

Noon

900 block of N Vine Report of a suspicious male outside. Singing 'Peter Cottontail', shirtless. Pointing his finger at cars passing by as if he was shooting them. HPD responding.

Seriously.

5 pm

Wyoming Street A male reportedly pulled a gun on another male. The reason is reportedly heroin. The male possibly fled into a barber shop in the area. More details are unknown.

6 pm

Gyps in Freeland closed it's doors, possibly for good.

The store MAY be renovating and reopening, but this is not certain.

7 pm

The Markle Building on Broad Street Commercial fire alarm. Activated by a manual pull station. Hazleton City Fire is on scene.

No fire or smoke found.
