Lines Across Road Closes 940 In Freeland

Around 3:15, Freeland Fire responded to South Street between Washington and Adams for a report of wires down in the roadway.
A dump druck reportedly caused the wires to break away and fall across the roadway.

South Street was closed for over an hour while Verizon, Service Electric, and PPL were dispatched.
The truck that caused the lines to come down had reportedly left the area initially.
The truck returned after almost 45 minutes.
