Video Of Garage Fire In Butler Township

Around 7pm, crews responded to the area of South Old Turnpike Road for a report of a residential structure fire.

Initial reports stated a house was in flames, but it turned out to be a garage that was fully engulfed in flames when crews responded.

Fire fighters from Valley Regional, Hazle Township, Freeland, West Hazleton, Foster Township, and Dennison Township were dispatched to the blaze.

It did not appear that anyone was injured.

Crews requested a backhoe to ensure that the fire would not rekindle.
