What Back To The Future II Got Right About 2015

In Back To The Future II, Marty McFly traveled from 1985, 30 years into the future.

Although flying cars and self drying clothes don't exist, there are a few things that Back To The Future has effectively predicted.

The hoverboard:

Hoverboards were heavily used in the future of 1985. Despite not being seen on a daily basis, they are in production!

It hovers using magnets, but it's still cool.

Video Calls:

It's not exactly Skype or Facetime, but it's close enough.

And coming from the imaginations of the 1980's, it's pretty impressive.

But we still don't have self tying shoelaces.
