Hazle Township Man Charged With Child Pornography

Michael Ferko, 26, of Hazle Township, has been charged by the Office of Attorney General for the following:

21 counts of F2 Child Pornography

2 counts of F2 Dissem Photo/Film of Child Sex Acts

1 count of F3 Criminal Use Of Communication Facility

The charges were issued on October 14th, 2015.

The dates of the offenses are listed at March 13th, 2015.

State Police initially tracked an IP address to a Hazle Township home. Three individuals resided in the home, the IP address belonging to Ferko.

Upon conducting a search warrant on the home on July 27th, State Police discovered an MDMA lab inside of the home.

A Preliminary Hearing has been scheduled in front of magistrate James Dixon on October 30th 2015.

Ferko was given unsecured bail on the charges.
