Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle

Around 9am an individual was reported to be struck by a motor vehicle on Walnut Street near Fulton Court.

The individual was said to be unresponsive when the incident was initially reported.

HPD arrived on scene first, requesting EMS to speed their response time.

The individual was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted by police to LVH for a blood toxicology test. The victim layed in the roadway under a white sheet for over two hours. State police forensics along with HPD investigated the scene.
