20 Injured, 15 Dead After Shooter Opens Fire At Oregon College

Just after 10:30 am in Oregon, a shooter opened fire at Unpqua Community College.

Over 20 individuals were injured, and at least 10 are confirmed dead after the shooting at the school.

TV station KATU reports 15 people were killed, according to state police.

The Douglas County Fire District No. 2 first tweeted about the shooting around 10:45 a.m.

The fire department later stated there were multiple casualties.

The shooter was reportedly "brought down" by police just aftr 11am Oregon time.

Authorities in Roseburg, Ore., quickly spread the word and called on residents and students not to go to the campus. The school normally has about 3,000 full time students and 16,000 part-time students.

Umpqua Community College is a community college located six miles north of Roseburg, Ore.
