US Marshals, HPD, And West Hazleton Police, Guns Drawn, Serve Warrant

Just before 10am, US Marshals, Hazleton, and West Hazleton police entered a home on East Green Street in West Hazleton.

Officers were reportedly executing a warrant on 228 East Green Street. It is unknown if the warrant was for an individual or to search the home.

No comment was given from local police.

Officers were at the home for over an hour, searching and clearing the first, second, and third floor of the home. The basement was also searched, at which point officers found that the basement did allow travel into the other side of the home. It is unknown at this time if officers had searched the other home as well.

Offciers could be seen surrounding the home with guns drawn while their fellow officers were inside of the home.

No items were seen being taken out of the home.

Two females from the home were under the supervision of officers while the search was being conducted, however it does not appear that any arrests were made, or that anyone was taken into custody from the incident.
