Multiple items were found to have been stolen from the home.

Police located the victim's vehicle on 8th Street near Manhattan Court in Hazleton. The vehicle's license plate had been removed, and the vehicle's VIN number was covered with what appeared to be a black marker. The vehicle was found approximately 570 feet from the home of Yisrael.

On September 6th, at approximately 5pm, the victim's remains were found off of Petrarch Trail in Penn Forest Township in Carbon County. The cause of death was determined to be a gun shot wound.

Through the investigation, it was learned that the victim's estranged wife, Lisa Vacante, had began a romantic relationship with Yisrael approximately two years prior to the homicide.

A search of Yisrael's home had uncovered the key fob to Vacante's vehicle.

Numerous items of mail addressed to Samuel and Lisa Vacante had been found inside of Yisrael's home.

The case is still considered an active investigation.
