One Dead After Shooting On Grant Street

Around 11:30 PM Thursday night, Hazleton Police responded to numerous reports of gunshots in the area of Grant and 20th.

Area residents stated that four shots were heard.

An individual in the area was shot an undetermined amount of times.

Police were investigating a vehicle on scene with New York plates. Unknown at this time if the vehicle belonged to the victim or the shooter.

While police were investigating the Grant Street shooting, reports came in of shots heard on 3rd Street and near the intersection of Fern and Laurel.

An individual on Fern Street claims that their window and TV were damaged by bullets.
