Pantry Quik Robbed, Suspect In Custody

Around 9:50pm Monday Night, Hazleton City Police responded to the Pantry Quik on East Diamond Avenue.

Employees stated that a black male with a beard, wearing a black dew rag, black shirt, and jeans came into the store and threatened them. No weapon was seen. The male fled the store on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. Police located a male matching the description near Seybert and 2nd. The suspect had an arrest warrant when police ran his name. The individual is in police custody currently.
