Armed Robbery With Shotgun At Domino's

Around 10pm saturday night, reports came in of an armed robbery at Domino's on 15th and Church Streets in Hazleton.

Available units from HPD responded, along with State Police and West Hazleton Police.

The suspect was described as a white male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a shirt covering his face, and wielding a shotgun.

Witnesses stated that the suspect fled North in the alley behind the store.

HPD, West Hazleton, and PSP searched the area for the suspect, but he is still at large.

No injuries were reported from the incident, however the store did close early due to the robbery.

It is unknown how much money, or if any pizzas were stolen.

It is also unknown if any deliveries were caused to extend beyond the "30 minutes or free" guarantee of the company.

In other pizza related news, a delivery driver from another Hazleton pizzeria states that his car jumped out of gear when it hit a parked car and a residence on Diamond Avenue literally minutes before the robbery. Here's the link for that:
