Two In Custody After Armed Robbery At Laurel Mall

Wendy's at the Laurel Mall was robbed at gunpoint around 8 am this morning.

Reports of two black males fleeing the scene.

One male was apprehended near Monroe Muffler on 93 just after 8am.

APTS was requested at Wendy's for an unknown reason.

HPD and assisted PSP in a search of a wooded area near the Wendy's.

PSP helicopter searched the area from above, while officers with k9 units searched below.

The second individual was caught around 8:30am.
