ATV Hits Vehicle and Flees Into Woods

Around 4:45pm, police recieved a report of an ATV hitting a vehicle on the Arthur Gardner Expressway.
Reports state that a red and black Polaris Sportsman struck a vehicle and fled into the woods.
State police who happened to be in the area were flagged down by a group of people on the side of the road, and stated that it appeared that there were four vehicles with damage.
It is unknown at this time if the ATV had struck multiple vehicles, or if a traffic accident was caused due to the ATV.
HPD arrived on scene and requested EMS for a pregnant female requiring an evaluation.

ATVs and dirtbikes do NOT belong on public roadways.
It is illegal.
It is dangerous.
Please stay off of public roadways when operating an ATV or dirt bike.
