Two Dead In Tragic Accident Between Weatherly And White Haven

The name of one person involved in a deadly accident on Lehigh Gorge Road between Weatherly and White Haven has been announced.

Two were fatally wounded in the accident where a vehicle had lost control and collided with a tree.

The Lehigh Gorge Road was entirely closed off to traffic for over two hours while debris was removed and the scene was investigated.

Gerald Sweitzer of Weatherly is confirmed to have been one of the two occupants in the vehicle who were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The second individual involved has not been named yet.
