Tractor Trailer Rollover Down Embankment In White Haven

Around 11am Sunday, crews from Foster Township and White Haven arrived to Interstate 80 exit 274 for a report of a tractor trailer rollover on the on ramp.

The tractor trailer had rolled down an embankment and into a wooded area along the ramp from PA 534 near Hickory Run State Park.

Pennsylvania State Troopers were on scene, taking over for first responders.

Troopers stated that the tractor trailer was parked on the brim of the on ramp, where the driver was sleeping.

Softened earth from recent rainfall had caused the vehicle to slide and then roll down the embankment.

The driver suffered a broken arm, but was able to climb out of the wreckage.

Ruts can be seen where the trucks tires drug down the embankment.
