Suspicious Person Reported In Weatherly Area

A Weatherly area woman answered her door Tuesday to a stranger on her property.

Amanda DeZolt stated that a man was on her property, asking about porta pottys in the area.

She states that the man had asked her to come outside and help him find them. When Dezolt refused, the man requested her name and phone number. DeZolt again refused, and the man suggested that she get her keys to her vehicle to get a pen, to give him her contact information.

DeZolt stated that she had shut and locked the door, and proceeded to call 911.

The man was described as 5'10, with short cut hair, and wearing sunglasses.

Hazleton State Police are investigating the incident.
