Missing West Hazleton Man Found!

Richard Meier, of West Hazleton was reported missing June 17th by his family.

Meier's family had contacted West Hazleton Police about Richard.

They also made numerous posts on Facebook with Richard's pictures, his last known whereabouts, and a description of his clothing.

Posters were hung stating "Missing Person" with his picture and description.

Meier was seen walking back towards Pantry Quik on the 20th, where a woman had called 911.

Meier was in an area near West Hazleton Middle School and was injured and unable to walk.

His sister, Heather Meier, who had spearheaded the campaign had referred to the incident as the worst days of her life.

Heather's post on Facebook was shared amazingly nearly 2000 times.

Meier suffered from sunburn and muscular damage due to being in the same position for days, but his family is just glad that he is home alive and safe.
