Gunshots And Shootings Around Hazleton

Following Wednesday nights deadly shooting in Alter Street, police have been investigating numerous accounts of gunshots in Hazleton.

Late Saturday night, at Locust and 8th, 8 gunshots were heard, HPD responded,and requested WHPD and PSP to assist.

Around 3 am Sunday morning, at 5th and grant, bullet casings were found.

Sources state that Hazleton police were investigating a shooting on Tamarack and Laurel Sunday morning.
