Around 10:30pm Thursday night, security cameras caught an argument in a vacant lot on Alter st.

A man was wounded by a bullet in the lot at 590 alter street and left a blood trail along 4th street. Witnesses state that the victim was running and screaming "please don't shoot me".

The shooter was heard to state that he was going to kill the victim.

A 911 call stated that they heard a total of 4 gunshots.

Another call a moment later stated that a man was shot and laying in the street.

Hazleton Police arrived to find the victim with two facial wounds, and one in his back. The victim was sent to Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton and pronounced dead.

Chief DeAndrea has refered to the murder as an execution.

Hazleton Police have noted from the multiple security videos of the incident, that there are witnesses that have yet to come forward.
